- Our apps are free. We show ads to keep them that way — no paywalls, ever.
- We don't collect your name, email, or location inside the app. No account required.
- AppLovin serves the ads. They may use your ad identifier unless you opt out in iOS Settings.
- We don't sell your data to anyone.

Overview
Vypio ("we", "us", or "our") operates iOS mobile applications and the website at vypio.app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep things simple and don't collect anything we don't need.
Information We Collect
Through our apps
Our apps do not require account registration and do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information directly.
The following data may be collected automatically by the operating system or third-party SDKs embedded in our apps:
- Device type, OS version, and language settings
- App version and crash reports (for bug fixing)
- General usage patterns and feature interaction (aggregated, not tied to you personally)
- Advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID) — only if you have not opted out via your device's privacy settings
Through our website contact form
When you submit the contact form on vypio.app, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Through email
If you contact us at hello@vypio.app, we retain your email address and message content in order to respond. We do not share this with third parties.
Advertising
Our apps are free and supported by non-intrusive advertising served through AppLovin (AppLovin Corporation). To serve relevant ads, AppLovin may collect and process data including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage signals.
AppLovin operates under its own privacy policy, which you can review at applovin.com/privacy. We do not have access to or control over the data AppLovin collects.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- iOS 14+: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → disable "Personalized Ads"
Opting out means you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your interests.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Fix bugs and improve app stability
- Understand which features are used most so we can improve them
- Respond to your support and press inquiries
- Serve advertising that funds free access to our apps
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for purposes beyond what is described in this policy.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are retained for up to 2 years unless you request deletion. App usage data collected by third-party SDKs is subject to those parties' respective retention policies.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- AppLovin — in-app advertising
- Apple App Store — app distribution; Apple collects download and purchase data per their Privacy Policy
- Resend — transactional email delivery for contact form responses
- Vercel — website hosting; Vercel may log request metadata per their privacy policy
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- The right to access data we hold about you
- The right to request correction or deletion of your data
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for EU/EEA residents under GDPR, or California residents under CCPA)

Children's Privacy
Our apps and website are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our apps or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
